Ho progettato un software online ed open source, rivolto alle insegnanti della scuola primaria, per la creazione di materiale didattico cartaceo; nello specifico schede didattiche. Le insegnanti hanno il compito di inserire il materiale, testuale o visivo, all’interno di modelli, già strutturati in base  al tipo di esercizio da svolgere. In questo modo di potrebbe arrivare ad avere risultati visivamente coerenti.

I designed an open source software, available on line as a cloud service, addressed specifically to primary school teachers. The aim was to facilitate them in the creation of printed educational materials, in particular teaching cards. Teachers can easily insert the material, textual or visual, within preset models that aim to get the user to a visually consistent result in a short time.

Premessa

Nella realizzazione della mia interfaccia sono partita dal presupposto che ciò che stavo progettando doveva essere un aiuto, un sostegno ed una facilitazione rispetto ai programmi già esistenti; la scelta del mio bacino di utenti, così specifico, in qualche modo doveva guidarmi nelle scelte. Proprio per questo ho deciso di offrire all’utente una ridotta quantità di strumenti, specifici per quelle che sono risultate essere le sue necessità; in questo modo i miei utenti, presumibilmente insegnanti della scuola primaria, possono concentrarsi su quelle che sono le loro conoscenze e competenze, sui contenuti da proporre ai loro alunni, senza doversi preoccupare dell’aspetto visivo e di costruzione del contenitore.

Introduction

During the design process of my interface I have started on the basis that what I was designing had to be an help, a support and a facilitation compared to the existing programs. The typology of my target market, that is so specific, had to guide me in all the choice I have to do. For this reason I decided to propose a limitate quantity of instruments, offering only the ones that are specific for their needs. In this way my users, mainly primary school teachers, can focus their work on all their knowledge and skills, without having to worry about all the visual appearance and the construction of the container.
